Besides high sharpness, you can count on subtle bokeh and minimal aberrations. The lens is built from, among other things, one XA element, two aspherical elements, four low-dispersion elements and two Super ED elements. The lens also has a Nano AR coating that reduces reflections, flare and ghosting for even better contrast and colour rendering. With the fast, constant F/2.8 aperture you can also capture excellent images in low light. Autofocus is fast for both photos and videos.
