The camera features a fast autofocus of just 0.02 seconds, improved Eye Autofocus, the EISA award-winning Animal Eye Autofocus and Real-time Tracking. Subjects are captured accurately on video thanks to Real-time Tracking, which is based on artificial intelligence (AI) and object recognition. The sensor is a 24.2MP Exmor CMOS sensor, paired with a BIONZ X image processor. This guarantees high image quality thanks to the wide sensitivity range, with an ISO value of up to 32000.
The Sony Alpha 6600 has been improved in many areas. The camera has a robust magnesium alloy body. This ensures extra durability and gives the camera dust and splash protection. The tilting screen, which can be rotated 180 degrees upwards or 74 degrees downwards, features Touch Focus, Touch Shutter and Touch Pad AF. The grip has been enlarged, so the camera sits even better in your hand, and you can use an NP-FZ100 battery.
Besides photography, the Sony A6600 is also very well suited to video recording, as it can film in 4K/30p (3840 x 2160 pixels). Thanks to Fast Hybrid AF technology, you can focus quickly while filming, and the 5-axis SteadyShot INSIDE image stabilisation minimises camera movement, resulting in steady footage. The camera also supports S-Gamut3 / S-Log3 profiles. This means the camera has a wide dynamic range for smooth tonal and colour gradations, which makes it extremely suitable for professionals as well. Thanks to built-in Bluetooth, NFC and Wi-Fi, the Sony A6600 lets you share online directly. This mirrorless camera is therefore ideal for photographers, videographers and vloggers alike.
