The Zhongyi Mitakon 85mm f/1.2 lens (Nikon F) is an exceptionally fast short telephoto prime lens designed for Nikon F-mount cameras. This lens combines a bright maximum aperture with a portrait-length perspective for extensive focus control and improved low-light shooting. The optical design features two extra-low dispersion elements alongside four high-refractive-index elements to reduce chromatic aberrations and distortion, delivering remarkable sharpness even at wide apertures. The lens also features a manual focus design with a floating element system, along with a de-clicked, silent aperture ring for both photo and video applications. Ideally suited to portrait photography, the refined optical design, fast maximum aperture, and longer-than-normal focal length work together to isolate subjects and deliver a high degree of sharpness and clarity.
