A portrait lens with no optical compromises, the Zeiss Otus 85mm f/1.4 APO Planar T* lens resembles its namesake and strives for remarkable performance in any situation.

Free 5-Year Warranty

The Zeiss Otus 85mm F1.4 shows all its advantages in the classic short telephoto range, ie in portraits and people. The focal length, longer than a standard lens makes it possible to keep a reasonable distance from the subject. If you use a landscape for more than just a background, you will find that this Otus is no "normal" lens, but a surprisingly powerful companion for nature photography. Indeed, you can use the edges of the image for compositional purposes at all aperture settings.

The extra fine ergonomics and precision of the focusing mechanism is possible thanks to a metal design. The robust all-metal casing is made to withstand the rough daily operations of a professional photographer. A long service life is assured.
