Designed as a camera that is suitable for both home productions and TV productions. The Sony PXW-FS7 is a flexible 4K camera system. It features a Super 35mm sensor that lets you capture images with a cinematic depth of field. The camera's E-mount is made of stainless steel, and you can use E-mount lenses or, with optional adapters, most 35mm lenses, including PL, EF, Leica and Nikon. With optional XQD cards, the camera can record in UHD up to 60 fps or in HD up to 180 fps. The camera can capture 4K (4096x2160) footage and output the signal via the SDI or HDMI connections. The camera records in XAVC-I, XAVC-L or MPEG-2. It is equipped with dual XQD memory card slots that support simultaneous or relay recording. An ergonomically designed handle gives you control of many of the camera's functions and comes with an adjustable support arm.
