The SmallRig x Potato Jet Tribex Hydraulic Carbon Fiber Tripod 4259 is designed for professional outdoor videography and offers fast, easy operation. Thanks to X-Clutch hydraulic technology, pressing a single clutch makes all the legs unfold quickly, adjust their angle and lock automatically in just one second, giving photographers a seamless experience.
The clutch can also be set to 45° and 90° to suit different shooting scenarios. Both the legs and the centre column are made of carbon fibre, which keeps the weight low while delivering exceptional stability and a high load capacity. The working height ranges from 27 cm to 168 cm, with a compact folded length of 79 cm. The centre column has a quick-lock design for easy height adjustments, with a removable hex key built into the other side of the hook for easy mounting and dismounting of camera equipment, and the option to shoot from a low angle at a minimum height of 27 cm. The compact design of the tripod means it fits in any standard luggage.
The kit includes a compact, lightweight hydraulic fluid head with an adjustable 4-step counterbalance system. When the centre of gravity height is set to 55 mm, the 4-step counterbalance system effectively stabilises cameras or other equipment (up to 6 kg) while giving you precise control over the tilt of the camera. The fluid head allows seamless, stepless adjustments for tilt and pan damping, to suit the different shooting preferences of filmmakers. The fluid head uses a new Touch-and-Go quick-release plate design that requires no alignment and is more efficient than traditional sliding plates.
The plate is compatible with 501 quick-release plates and DJI RS series quick-release plates, allowing quick transitions between stabilisers and tripods while filming. The user-friendly, removable telescopic handle makes the head easy to operate when attached to either the left or the right side, so it works with any grip. The fluid head also has three 1/4"-20 threaded holes for attaching accessories such as magic arms, along with a built-in flat head screw for easy installation and removal of the camera. The tripod also has quick-release rubber feet with integrated spikes, for seamless adaptation to different terrains.
