The Sigma 14mm F/1.8 DG HSM Art Canon is a unique ultra-wide-angle prime lens with an impressive maximum aperture of f/1.8, designed with a focus on producing high-resolution images. As part of the Sigma Art series, this lens was designed with image quality and rendering in mind, and it uses both F Low Dispersion (FLD) and Super Low Dispersion (SLD) glass elements. These minimise chromatic aberrations and colour shifts for excellent clarity across the entire image. Four aspherical glass elements, including the precision-moulded front element, also help reduce distortion and spherical aberrations for better sharpness and accuracy. In addition, a Super Multi-Layer Coating is applied to the individual elements to suppress lens flare and ghosting, giving you high contrast when shooting in bright light.

Complementing the optical performance, the 14mm F/1.8 DG HSM Art Canon features a Hyper Sonic Motor that delivers fast, smooth and nearly silent focusing. This motor lets you fine-tune the autofocus manually at any time by turning the focus ring. Thanks to its thermally stable composite material, this lens is suited to working in a wide range of temperatures and conditions. The lens mount is made of brass, which adds durability and precision. This lens is also compatible with the optional Sigma USB Dock, giving you precise control over the focus parameters and other lens characteristics.
