Samyang VDSLR 85 mm T1.5 MK2 Sony FE

The Samyang VDSLR 85 mm T1.5 MK2 Sony FE is suitable for full-frame cameras. The 85 mm features a weather seal, 9 aperture blades and the distance scale plus T-values are visible on both sides of the lens, for enhanced practical and professional use. The VDSLR lenses are not only loved by novice videographers but are also widely used by professional videographers as their second video set, for example for personal projects or commercial test shots. The uncompromising image quality that the lenses deliver, the compactness and the stepless aperture setting enable them to create the desired cinematic look anytime and anywhere. Suitable for both DSLR and mirrorless camera systems, the lens is ready to support all types of creators around the world.

Compact video lens

The Samyang VDSLR MK2 series is perfect for handheld shooting and the increasingly popular way of working with a gimbal. The long focusing stroke of more than 130° allows videographers to focus on your subject extremely accurately and precisely, making video images feel more professional than with autofocus lenses.

VDSLR MK2 series

Despite their compact size, the VDSLR lenses are designed for Full Frame sensors and are ready for high-end video production. The lenses have aspherical lens elements to reduce spherical and optical aberration to produce clear and vivid images. The MK2 series has a bright T1.5 aperture that allows you as a videographer to focus on the shots and creativity, without worrying about image quality, even when you have low light. Updated with 9 aperture blades, the lenses are able to meet many of the latest imaging trends. For example, the smooth and round bokeh adds a three-dimensional quality and fine effect. It's a thing of the past to worry about the weather when you go out to shoot, because the entire MK2 line is equipped with a weatherproof seal at the mount. This protects the vulnerable 'gap' between the lens and the camera mount. This will help keep out snow, dust and light rain.
