Ricoh has given the Street Edition a metallic grey finish, a special surface texture and an orange-yellow lens ring. The start-up screen features a street-style background with a special logo. The camera comes with a stylish leather soft case.
The camera has an APS-C CMOS sensor with 24.24 megapixels. With an adjustable ISO value between 100 and 102,400, you can capture beautiful photos even in difficult lighting conditions. The 3-axis stabilisation also compensates for up to four stops.
The lens is built from 6 elements in 4 groups, including 2 aspherical lens elements. The fixed focal length is 18.3mm, which equals roughly 28mm in 35mm equivalent. The aperture is adjustable between f/2.8 and f/16. In normal mode, you can focus from as close as 10 cm. In macro mode, that is even from 6 cm. The Street Edition also features the 'Full Press Snap' function, a snapshot focus mode that activates when you fully press the shutter button. The autofocus is switched off and the focus is locked at the preset snapshot focus distance. This means the camera is instantly ready to capture fleeting moments.
