The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-LX100 is an advanced point-and-shoot camera with manual controls, designed to stimulate your creativity. It features a large multi-aspect 16.8MP 4/3" MOS sensor to produce 12.8MP photos and 4K Ultra HD video at 30 and 24 fps. You can also extract high-resolution 8MP images from the 4K video, so you can capture entire scenes without missing a thing.
The built-in Leica DC Vario-Summilux zoom lens offers a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 24-75mm, covering perspectives from wide-angle to portrait length. With a fast maximum aperture of f/1.7-2.8, you can work in poor lighting conditions and gain control over selective focus for imagery with a shallow depth of field. A nine-blade aperture adds smooth out-of-focus rendering. When you need more light, the camera has an integrated hot shoe for external flashes. A compact flash is included with the camera, matching the style and color of the body, with a guide number of 23.
The lightweight, compact body features both an electronic viewfinder and an LCD screen. You can use the high-density 2,764k-dot viewfinder with confidence when framing your shots, even outdoors. The viewfinder delivers 100% Adobe RGB color space, so what you see is what you capture. The 3" screen is also available with a 921k-dot resolution. In addition, the built-in WiFi connectivity with NFC lets you control your camera remotely with mobile devices and the Panasonic Image App.
