The Hoya HD Antistatic UV – 49mm is a UV filter with L41 UV-cut optical glass that blocks ultraviolet light while protecting your lens. The filter has an antistatic coating that repels dust and a water- and oil-repellent coating for easy maintenance. Thanks to the 20-layer multicoating, you maintain a light transmission of 98.8%.

Hoya HD Antistatic UV – 49mm

With the Hoya HD Antistatic UV – 49mm you block ultraviolet light while protecting the front element of your lens. The L41 UV-cut optical glass absorbs UV light while preserving natural colour rendition and sharpness. The filter is made of chemically strengthened optical glass, which improves impact resistance.

The antistatic coating repels dust, keeping the filter clean for longer and making loose particles easy to remove. The water- and oil-repellent coating lets you easily wipe away water, fingerprints and grease, even in less favourable conditions.

The 20-layer multicoating reduces flare and ghosting while maintaining high light transmission. The filter has a light transmission of 98.8%, so it has barely any effect on your exposure.
