Hoya 67mm Y2 Pro (yellow)

The Hoya 67mm Y2 Pro is a yellow filter primarily used for black-and-white photography, increasing the contrast in your shots. This filter is particularly useful for creating a clear contrast between a blue sky with clouds and the foreground. It also provides a natural tonal rendition. The Y2 Pro filter is not specifically intended for close-up or distant subjects, but is often used for subjects at intermediate distances. To prevent effects such as ghosting and reflections, each glass surface features three layers of anti-reflection coating. These coatings therefore offer better protection and help keep the filter clean for longer. This Hoya 67mm Y2 Pro colour filter is made from optical glass for optimum clarity, and features an aluminium alloy filter ring, making it both durable and lightweight.
