Celestron Telescoop StarSense Explorer LT 127AZ

The Celestron Telescope StarSense Explorer LT 127AZ makes the universe accessible to anyone who wants to explore it. The LT 127AZ brings a smartphone and the telescope together. Simply place your smartphone in the dock, start the dedicated StarSense app and you are ready to go.

The StarSense app uses the same alignment technology as satellites. You use your phone's camera to capture images and compare them with an internal database. This way you identify the star field and its location. The "Lost in Space Algorithm" (LISA) offers more accuracy than regular astronomy apps and can even be used in areas without a mobile signal.

Enjoy bright views of the moon, planetary features and bright deep-sky objects thanks to the 127mm primary mirror with reflective aluminium coatings. The manual alt-azimuth mount with dual-axis slow-motion control cables makes quick and precise movement of the telescope easy, as guided by the StarSense app. This makes it easy to locate the object of interest and track it for extended viewing. The two-piece aluminium tripod, which offers adjustable height and portability, can be set up in various viewing positions and carried to remote locations.
