Caruba Extension Tube Set Sony E Chrome II

This Caruba Extension Tube set for Sony consists of two intermediate rings of 10 and 16mm, which can be used separately, but can also be combined. The intermediate rings do not have any optical elements and therefore it is possible to visualize subjects larger and closer, without changing the quality of the image.

Features of the Caruba Extension tube set Sony E Chrome II

  • Set of two intermediate rings (10 and 16mm)
  • Perfect for macro photography and close-ups
  • No change in the quality of your images
  • Compatible with Sony NEX (APS-C)/E-mount lenses
  • Chrome fitting

The extension rings have a chrome mount and are compatible with Sony NEX (APS-C)/E-mount lenses. Options such as automatic focus and TTL light metering continue to work. However, it is advisable to focus manually, because the sharpness is very close.

Minimum focusing distance

Each lens has a minimum focusing distance. If you place an extension tube, or so-called intermediate ring, between the lens and the camera body, the minimum focusing distance becomes smaller. The greater the focal length of the intermediate ring, the closer you can get. This is perfect for macro photography or for making special close-ups.
